It's been a minute since we heard from Danny Brown. Now, the animated lyricist is set to return in a big way, once again teaming with Bruiser Brigade for the fifth "Bruiser Thanksgiving." Not only will Danny take the stage, but he'll also be joined by Valee, JPEGMAFIA, Sam Austins, BEARCAT, Kyle Hall + a Jay Daniel = Fundamentals, and more.

The event is set to take place on November 21st, at Masonic Temple Roller Rink in Detroit. Danny Brown will lead the charge, and hopefully premiere some of that new music he's been working on. Remember when he teased an album with one-single producer, a hip-hop legend at that? We're still patiently waiting, though Danny has always thrived while moving at his own pace. It does stand to reason that Danny might provide some insight into what he's been cooking up, although we'll have to wait a few weeks to bear witness.

Danny has also gained the rights to the previously-unreleased Live At The Majestic documentary, which will provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at his creative process and day-to-day life prior to releasing 2016's Atrocity Exhbition. You may recall back in November, when Danny announced that the documentary would no longer see the light of day. Now, it would appear that fortuitous circumstances are upon us, and the movie will finally see the light of day at long last.

Should you be interested in attending, $30 tickets can be purchased here.  A portion of the proceeds are set to go to Inside Out Detroit, an organization that introduces young people to the world of poetry. Welcome back, Danny. You have been missed.
