The Dallas Cowboys aren't going to be trading Tony Romo this offseason. That's because Jerry Jones and co. have decided to cut the 36-year old QB, allowing him to sign with any team of his choosing.
Romo went down with a back injury during a pre-season game last year and when rookie QB Dak Prescott took over the Cowboys never looked back, posting the best record in the NFC at 13-3, despite being bounced in the divisional round of the playoffs.
There are a number of teams who could use a veteran quarterback, including the Denver Broncos and Houston Texans. While those two teams are widely considered to be the most likely landing spots for Romo, although there are certainly others in the market for a QB.
Romo leaves Dallas as the franchise's all-time leader in passing yards, 34,183, and touchdown passes, 248, although he never got the Cowboys out of the divisional round of the playoffs.
