Prescott's dog is just fine.
Back in February, both of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's dogs escaped from his home in Frisco, Texas. While one of the dogs was calm, the other one, a pitbull named Icon, bit a part of his neighbor's finger off. The dog was immediately captured by police and then was brought into quarantine. Now though, TMZ has acquired body cam footage from the police that were on the scene trying to get the situation under control. In the video, you can see the man pull out an assault rifle in an attempt to make the dog calm down. The officer never shoots the weapon, although the dog eventually calmed down when Prescott's friend showed up with leashes.
Icon risked being euthanized for being a dangerous dog, although Dak was able to save the life of his beloved dog. Instead, authorities have told that Prescott that the dog is no longer allowed to remain in Frisco. This means Dak will either have to give the dog up for adoption or move to a different city completely.
Ever since the news broke of the pitbull attack, Prescott has been absent from the media and has not released a statement. It is unclear whether or not he will be keeping the dog, although based on the Instagram post below, he seems like quite the dog lover.
