Kanye West has been making a hell of a lot of headlines lately, for both good and bad reasons. The Chicago native turned Twitter into a shit storm over the past few days after he professed his appreciation for Candace Owens thinking and then told Ebro that he "loved Donald Trump." One person who's come to 'Ye's defense is his artist, CyHi The Prynce. He went on Twitter to shut down critics who've been getting at Yeezy's neck for his political alignment.

CyHi took to Twitter after 'Ye casted his support for Donald Trump. He first went off and said that the entertainment industry is what helped propel Trump's popularity after songs, TV shows and films made references to him prior to his run for president.

"Why is everybody so scared of Trump I bet you right now I can look up a thousand songs, TV shows etc where his name is mentioned before he ran for office." He wrote on Twitter.

The rapper later caught backlash from several users on Twitter. One of which threatened to unfollow all artists on G.O.O.D Music. While he continued to take to Twitter to elaborate further on what he meant, he then reminded everyone of Martin Luther King's political alignment.

"Y'all do know Martin Luther King was republican." The rapper wrote on Twitter.
