It's become a tradition in itself. The "No Hook" rap song usually suggests a strong emphasis on the lyrical content. Curren$y, Trademark Da Skydiver and Young Roddy, otherwise known as the core members of the Jet Life squad, are the latest in a long line of hookless fisherperson to employ the tactic. The song's soulful loop is strewn together by delegate producer Big $avage, to mark the collective's first record together since "Plan of Attack" in January.

Given the nature of Curren$y veteran status in the game, he too is reeling from the shock of losing Nipsey Hussle, their relationship going back ten years in time. Young Roddy, whose longstanding Jet Life membership belies the irony of his name, pays tribute to the late rapper in the final stanza. He raps, "I'm feeling like Mitch, I hustle like Nip, it's all money in..." The new single is being distributed through Babygrande Records.

Quotable Lyrics:

Uh, crumbling cookie crumbs into my bong and writing songs
N----s you took too long to come get that shit, now it's gone
It sells itself when it's packaged this well
Can't sit on the shelf, they copping it in cases of twelve
I shoot my shot at a bad bitch and pick up my shells.
