It's been a minute, but Curren$y Spitta has finally come through with his long-awaited Weed & Instrumentals 3, which extends the series originally birthed in 2016. Of course, most rappers and fans alike are no doubt familiar with the titular properties and understand that they pair nicely together. Seeing as this is Curren$y we're talking about, the vibe is characteristically smooth, a proper blend of instrumental flavor fleshed out by a respectable dose of bars. The tape is fleshed out with features from Wiz Khalifa, Fiend, and more.

Tracks like the Wiz collaboration "KhalifAndretti" find both parties taking to a laid back, soulful instrumental, which encourages their respective talents to shine. Of course, Spitta's always been one of the game's most consistent, keeping his flow effortless and his bars alive with detail. For those pleased with Curren$y's already impressive 2018 output, be sure to give Weed & Instrumentals 3 a spin; it's not his definitive project, but a welcome dose of X-Mas haze nevertheless.
