Craig David recently announced his seventh studio album The Time Is Now, slated for release on January 26th and featuring appearances from JP Cooper, Bastille, AJ Tracey, Ella Mai, Kaytranada and GoldLink. The latter lent his considerable talents to David's brand new single "Live In The Moment," which finds GoldLink holding it down on what might be his most radio-friendly appearance thus far. For the beat, David reunites with Montreal producer Kaytranada, with whom he previously linked on "Got It Good" off Kaytra's 99.9% project. The end result is a feel-good, vaguely eighties-inspired banger.
GoldLink certainly picks up where "Crew" left off, spitting dexterous rhymes as he raps "I need you like the Devil needs soul, and there it goes in the open you should let me control, and put your mind to the side and your heart in a bowl."
