Common is embracing the Chicago of old and new on his upcoming album, "Nobody's Smiling", which is evident on the project's intro, "The Neighborhood".

Produced of course by longtime Chi-town collaborator No I.D., the song also incorporates a sample from city treasure, Curtis Mayfield. Also adding a fresh new voice to the mix is up and coming rapper, Lil Herb, who proves once again that he is one of the most exciting new voices coming out of the region.

The album will be available in its entirety next Tuesday, July 22nd. It will also feature guest appearances from Dreezy, Big Sean, and more.

Quotable Lyrics:
Better watch out for that jump shot
'Cause they will hit
Hungry, take your shorty lunchbox
And won't feel shit
