Japanese fashion label Comme des Garcons first debuted their outrageous Nike Cortez collab back in March during Paris Fashion Week, but the kicks have resurfaced as news of a release date approaches.
The women’s exclusive Comme des Garçons x Nike Cortez is built on an exaggerated, white and black striped platform sole which includes the familiar, rigid detailing beneath it all. Additional details include a white leather upper, black tongue tag and Nike Swoosh, and mismatched CDG insoles.
A specific release date for the gaudy CDG Cortez collab has not yet been announced but it is believed the kicks will release at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com in the coming months. It is rumored that an alternate black and white colorway will also release.
