Commes Des Garcons is most notably known for their collaboration with classic sneaker brand Converse on the high top and low top Chuck Taylor's. Now, Comme Des Garcons is back to their collaborative ways, this time with skater shoe brand Vans. Vans is a staple in sneaker culture and while the designs might not be as hyped up as Jordan's or Yeezy's, they still have a special place in the hearts of sneakerheads.

This latest collab is quite interesting as it has Commes Des Garcons bringing their high fashion aesthetics to the Vault Authentic. The sneaker is covered in black, all while printed words take up the entire upper. It's a pretty busy look, but it's something you would come to expect from a high-fashion imprint like CDG.

Phrases like “my energy comes from my freedom” and “live free with strong will” are plastered all over the shoe. These slogans come from the Japanese heritage of the brand.

These are already available in stores for $130 USD so if you're looking to cop, you can check out stores like Dover Street Market London.
