Coldplay has not been holding back on the production value for videos from their recent album Head Full Of Dreams. The next track to get the visual treatment is their collaboration with Beyonce “Hymn For The Weekend.”
Beyonce lives up to her status as queen, appearing positively regal in as she’s decked out in Hindu-inspired attire. The video, which was shot in Mumbai, India, and features Bollywood star Sonar Kapoor, takes place on the streets of Mumbai, in a projection hall and out in a bay with fireworks overhead.
It’s a colorful and vibrant video that makes great use of their location with some fantastic slow motion footage.
