Heir to the Coca-Cola fortune, Alkiviades “Alki” David, was arrested in the Caribbean after police found $1.3M worth of cannabis on his private jet, according to reports. The Anti-Narcotics Unit arrested David at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport in St. Kitts after officials discovered 5,000 plants aboard his private jet. He's been charged with intent to supply, possession of controlled drugs and importation of a controlled drug into the federation. Alki was arrested on the private jet along with Ergen as well as Irish actor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Alki is contesting the charges, claiming they're "all hemp" and they were connected to a new legal cannabis business he's launching on the island. Last month, he and Chase Ergen, the co-founder of Dish Network and Echo Star, revealed that they'd be launching a company aimed towards bringing legal cannabis business across nations in the Caribbean such as St. Kitts-Nevis, Dominica and Antigua. Alki and Ergen's plans were already beginning to unfold as they've had meetings with government and business leads across the region.

David is heir to the Leventis-David Group, a company that holds a majority share in Coca-Cola Helenic. David also owns FilmOn, a company that once signed Chief Keef. The rapper later tried to name his child after the company in order to promote his album. FilmOn also owns Hologram USA which has produced the holograms of Tupac as well as Michael Jackson.
