Let me introduce you to Clipping., an experimental hip hop group based out of Los Angeles. They’re gearing up to release their next album, Splendor and Misery. “Air ‘Em Out” is the first single from that album, and it continues their tradition of taking classic hip hop tenets and twisting them through industrial electronic sounds.
Rapper Daveed Diggs displays his incredible lyrical prowess and flow over the sparse beat. The video is properly weird as well, with things floating in the air an anonymous drugs being taken. Fun fact, Diggs was a key member of the original cast of Broadway’s “Hamilton.”
