According to league sources, Chris Paul will be rejoining James Harden in Houston for 4 more years. There was thought a max deal would be tough to hand out given the team's cap restrictions, and the pending move for Clint Capela, but GM Daryl Morey's first order of books is reportedly now in the books.

Critics agreed that a 33 year old Chris Paul still posed the greater threat. Although he stayed mum on his decision up 'til the very last minute, league sources seem convinced a departure was never in his plans.
