Let's be serious. Thor: The Dark World was by far the worst movie in the MCU. Iron Man 2 and Avengers: Age of Ultron weren't exactly shining moments either, but the second Thor film was horrendous. The jokes were stale, the love story was flimsy, the villain was weak even for pre-Thanos Marvel standards, and the CGI was questionable. It appears that even the star of the movie realizes the failures of the film. Recently, Chris Hemsworth sat down with GQ to discuss the changing aspect of masculinity in movies, and he revealed that he also believes the second Thor movie wasn't very good.

“The first one is good, the second one is meh,” Hemsworth said of the Thor series. “What masculinity was, the classic archetype—it just all starts to feel very familiar. I was so aware that we were right on the edge.” At least Hemsworth can admit it. The third film, Ragnarok, is considered by many to be the best installment in the Thor trilogy, and it reignited Hemsworth's interest in playing the character for a longer period of time. His Marvel run hasn't been as crazy as either Robert Downey Jr. or Chris Evans, who complete the Avengers trinity of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor.
