Social media has canceled another celebrity, and this time they're coming for Chris D'Elia. The comedian captured Eminem's attention after videos of Chris impersonating the Detroit emcee went viral, and later he even portrayed Em in Logic's video for the rappers' single "Homicide." On Tuesday (June 16), Chris D'Elia became a trending topic on Twitter after a woman named Simone Rossi commented on the comedian being cast in season two of Netflix's eerie hit series You. Apparently, D'Elia will portray a pedophile on the show, causing Rossi to share her alleged interaction with the actor.

"I still can’t believe netflix cast chris d’elia as the pedophile in season to of 'you' like the literal IRONY," Rossi tweeted. She then posted screenshots of an email exchange from 2015 where Chris D'Elia allegedly asks her, when she was 16, to send him a photo. She replied with a picture of a panda, then reportedly later asked if she wanted to meet up.

"Imagine being 16 and being groomed by a stand up comedian twice ur age and the only reason you never met up and never got physically m*lested was because u had just gotten a boyfriend ur own age," Rossi said. "For the longest time i thought it was embarrassing for ME that i was interacting with this older man but he was the one who DM’d me on twitter and was the one who was twice my age and was the one that used the power imbalance between us to his advantage so f*ck chris d’elia."

Simone Rossi added that she thought her experience was a "funny story to tell at parties" but as she got older, she wasn't as comfortable with the interaction. Read through her tweets below, as well as a few responses.
