Chris Brown just released his new single "Fine China" today. The song serves as the first single for his new album X, and was co-written with Eric Bellinger. As much as Chris attempts to put the focus on his music, his personal life often looms over his artistic output. Brown spoke with Angie Martinez earlier, where he spoke about his issues with Drake and Frank Ocean, as well as how his girlfriend Rihanna feels about the situations.
Chris commented on how he had been painted the villain after his altercation with Frank Ocean a few months back, indicating that Frank's claims were a means for the R&B singer to create sympathy leading up to the Grammys. "There's a lot of strategies people try to use when they're up for awards. You know? It's the sympathy role." Brown said. "I don't have to go that route. I just do my music and do my thing. For [Ocean], it's whatever."
The X singer then sarcastically praised Ocean's music. "Love your music, bro! Have fun," he said in a condescending tone, later replying with "Nah," when asked if he really did enjoy Frank's output.
Brown also commented on his legal battles with Drake, revealing that while he leaves the technical aspects to his lawyer's, he feels as though he will never get along with Drizzy. "Me and him don't see eye to eye so it's gonna be what it is," he said, adding "Me and Drake. I can say his name. I don't care. We're never gonna see eye to eye."
As far as how Rihanna feels about the feud between the two artists, Breezy revealed he doesn't really get into that conversation with RiRi. "I don't really try to talk about about him when I'm around her," he explained. "I just do my thing. I just lay the pipe. I don't talk...I don't pillow talk."
