Who even knew National Avocado Day was a thing? We're guessing not many of you but it's just become one of the most important holidays of the year because Chipotle is doing something special for it. You know when your server asks you if you'd like to pay extra for guac every time you visit their restaurants? And you reluctantly say yes even though you know it should probably be free? Well, tomorrow you won't have to worry about that awkward interaction because guac is free for National Avocado Day.

That's right, you won't be paying that extra $1.80 for delicious guacamole and it's all in honor of the greatest holiday ever. Of course, there's a bit of a catch in that you need to be placing an order on their mobile app or online so that you can enter the promo code, which is "AVOCADO." However,  that's still good enough for us.

The Chief Marketing Officer at Chipotle, Chris Brandt, released a statement on the exciting news, writing, "Our fresh, homemade guacamole has a massive fan following. We want to show our love for the avocado and reward our customers' guac obsession. Plus, it's a major bonus that you can skip the line when you order ahead with our app or at chipotle.com."

In order to receive your free guac, you must order a regular-priced entree. The offer will only be available tomorrow on July 31. If you miss this one, maybe Chipotle will pull a similar stunt for National Guacamole Day on September 16.
