This is a big week for Usher. The R&B icon just dropped a surprise studio album entitled A and is also celebrating his turning 40. For the occasion, his former lover Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas shares some love in public fashion.
Chilli uploaded an old picture of the pair to Instagram with a short, loving caption to wish him well: "Happy Birthday Lil Big Daddy!"
The two youngsters are pictured grappling. Usher is bent over as the TLC member grabs him by the neck in a playful headlock. She's smiling.

The couple was formed officially in 2001 broke up in 2004 after cheating allegations surfaced. When asked if she would consider getting back together with Usher in 2013, Chilli quoted the infamous Sweet Brown: "Ain't nobody got time for that."
Although she might have had reasons to harbor ill feelings towards her ex, Thomas still had some sweet words to share about the alleged cheater during her interview with Wendy William.s
"We're friends...We did have a good relationship, as every relationship, you have your issues. I don't know, I think it was like wrong timing."
"He's really funny. We use to act crazy together all the time."
The picture is proof of the silly part of their enduring relationship.
