Donald Glover is preparing a rollout of new content by signing a major publishing deal.
Childish Gambino A.K.A Donald Glover is a man of many talents. Proving to be gifted in all areas of music, acting, directing, producing and DJing the 34-year-old has now linked up with Kobalt Music for a worldwide publishing agreement, Billboard reports. The contract also extends to his creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, taking care of creative services, publishing administration and more.
“Donald is one of those rare, multi-talented artists who can do it all,” Kobalt Music's senior VP, Al McLean said in a statement. “It’s an honor to sign Donald and the Wolf + Rothstein collective to the Kobalt family.” Childish's last musical release was Awaken, My Love! that arrived on December 2nd, 2016. We will be receiving new music from Childish later this year as well as a North American tour with special guests Rae Sremmurd and Vince Staples.
As for this week, we can look forward to Childish on the upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live as both musical guest and host. The show is set to air May 5th and maybe, just maybe he'll perform something we've never heard before.
“I am the new Tupac in a strange way. I grew up similar," Childish previously stated. "I didn’t have a mom in the Black Panthers, but my parents were very pro-black. Also, my mom made me go to performing-arts high school. She was like, ‘That’s where you need to be.’"
