Here's an unexpected collaboration: Childish Gambino, who hasn't released anything this year, will team with Summertime '06 rapper Vince Staples for a single off the soundtrack to the upcoming film "Creed."
Two songs off the upcoming soundtrack have been revealed, as Warner Brothers wants both to be considered for awards season. The one in question, "Waiting for My Moment," is credited to Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, and Vince Staples (as well as composer Ludwig Goransson, responsible for the film's score, and Ryan Coogler, the director of "Creed").
"Creed" is a "Rocky" spinoff that stars Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. The movie will hit theaters on November 25, so hopefully we'll get to hear "Waiting for My Moment" around the same time.
