This summer, young Chicago rapper, Lil JoJo was shot and killed.  Much has been written about his death, as his gang and Chief Keef's have beef on the dangerous streets of Chi-Town.  Now the violence continues as JoJo's friend and partner, aspiring rapper, Joshua "JayLoud" Davis was shot and killed on Christmas Day.

According to JayLoud's sister, the 18 year old had been in an altercation with a group of men, and had boarded a city bus.  At the time he was wearing a hoodie that paid homage to his fallen friend Lil JoJo, and Davis was spotted and shot, and subsequently died around 11:30pm on December 25th.  His sister says that the sweater made him a target, “He was killed because he was wearing a hoodie and getting off the bus...He was a great boy. He was only a baby.”

Police have been investigating Keef and his 3Hunna squad for the murder of Lil JoJo, who was affiliated with the gang Gangster Disciples, and was apparently gunned down by members of the rival Black Gangster Disciples.

Sadly, police have no leads in the shooting of Joshua "JayLoud" Davis, and this is just one of many violent deaths Chicago has seen lately.
