We first introduced you to rising Chicago rapper Carlos Figz (formerly known as Rappin Carlos) a couple years ago when he dropped off the song “Speak Up” featuring Kaye Fox (Credited on J. Cole’s “KOD”), but today he’s back making his rounds with his latest offering “Again,” featuring vocals by yet again Kaye Fox and fellow Chicagoan Ross Augusta.
Off his upcoming In Between Jobs, project, Carlos said the song was inspired by his move to LA from Chicago, having scraped his original project and needing to start from scratch. “I felt like I had to take my music to another level and figured it onset matter how long it takes, as long as when you come back you come back stronger.”
