This was a bit of a dry week for rap and R&B releases. While we await projects from Ty Dolla $ign, Jeezy, and Logic next week, things are pretty quiet, with no big debuts this cycle. The good news is, there are still quite a few rap albums occupying the top ten, with The Weeknd, Fetty Wap, and Drake & Future's WATTBA continuing to do numbers. Meanwhile, Bryson Tiller continues his low-key but impressive presence within the top 30.

1) The Weeknd—Beauty Behind The Madness: The Weeknd falls from 3 to 5, still managing an impressive 49,052 equivalent units (17,381 excluding streams) in his tenth week on the charts. His full count is currently at 646,851*.
2) Fetty Wap—Fetty Wap: Fetty has been in a mainstay within teh top 10 over the last 6 weeks, shifting slightly this cycle from 4 to 6. His self-titled moves 39,497 units (9,556 excluding streams), and stands at 148,000 pure album sales thus far.
3) Drake & Future—What A Time To Be Alive: Drake and Future fall 3 spots, but hang in withing the top 10, coming in at 9. Their "mixtape" has moved 466,000 copies traditionally so far, while this week they sell 30,338 equivalent units (6,535 excluding streams).
4) Bryson Tiller—Trapsoul: Tiller's debut has been a surprisingly consistent seller, coming in at number 23 in its 6th week on the chart (down from 21). He sells 19,779 units (7,954 excluding streams), which puts his total at 63,000.
5) Future—DS2: Future continues his very gradual slide down the charts this week, moving from 23 to 26 with 17,539 units sold (4,401 excluding streams). The album has sold 286,000 copies so far.
6) Drake—IYRTITL: Still the year's biggest seller, Drake's project has finally lost some momentum, falling from 24 to 32 this week, moving 15,491 units (3,928 excluding streams) for a total of 1,059,000.
7) Janet Jackson—Unbreakable: Janet's album is the first we're seeing on its way up the charts this week, jumping from 41 to 36. Her comeback LP sells 14,227 units (12,982 excluding streams) and totals up at 180,000.
8) J. Cole—2014 Forest Hills Drive: Cole's FHD is one of the highest selling rap albums of the last couple years, and while it's not doing huge numbers these days, it's still getting modest chart placements. Cole is down from 32 to 41 this week, with 12,505 sold (3,408 excluding streams). He's at 1,043,000 altogether.
9) Michael Jackson—Thriller: MJ's classic tends to have a spike in sales around Halloween, and this year is no exception, as he rises from 80 to 45 with 11,812 sold (5,728 excluding streams).
10) Travis Scott—Rodeo: Travis falls from 37 to 46, moving 11,464 units (2,652 excluding streams). His totals sales number after 9 weeks is 107,000.

Last week we saw Drake seemingly denied of his number one spot thanks to Adele, Justin Bieber, and Apple's lack of stream-reporting, but this week we got a bit of a surprise. Drizzy's "Hotline Bling" has actually moved UP at spot from 3 to 2 this week, which can probably be at least partially attributed to the video hitting VEVO. With Bieber and Adele dropping their albums in the next two weeks, it'll be tough for Drake to overthrow their success, but who knows, perhaps the memes the OVO rapper created have a longer shelf-life then we first anticipated.
