It's been a strange year, and now that it's winding to a close, we're left to deal with the fallout from one of 2017's most unexpected beefs. Recently, DJ Akademiks has found himself embroiled in a feud with Viceland's Desus & Mero, which has led to Stans on both sides riding for their respective camps. Initially, the beef seemed to have started when Akademiks was talking shit about the TV hosts during his livestream, which prompted a heated response from Desus and Mero. And while both Desus and Mero generally held nothing back, they came to realize that they were the ones who probably started the beef in the first place, when they clowned Ak during an interview with Vic Mensa

"After watching this I feel like we might deserve this beef," says Desus, after playing back the Vic Mensa clip. "But that's beauty of beef, you can be wrong and still fuck n***as up, so ayyy, run up and get done up my n***a! We from the Bronx, we never on the right side of beef anyway." Yesterday, both parties continued to trade shots, prompting Desus to refer to the war of words as "the worst online war anyone has seen in a hundred years."

And while their respective loyalists continue to set comment sections ablaze, Charlamagne Tha God has emerged to lay down some semblance of the law. The Breakfast Club host tweeted out a message at Desus and Mero, playfully telling them to ease off of Ak, lest the Everyday Struggle host channel Ralphie from A Christmas Story with the Red Ryder BB Gun. Check out Tha God's tweet below, and sound off. Are you entertained by this beef?
