Cardi B and Offset's split was a shock too many people. Over the weekend, Offset turned up his "Take Me Back Cardi" campaign to a hundred this weekend by issuing a public apology on Instagram before crashing her Rolling Loud set with cake and flowers. However, Charlamagne doesn't think Offset's approach is working. In fact, he feels like Offset should be doing a lot less.
First and foremost, Charlamagne Tha God wants to make it clear that he doesn't really care about the Offset/Cardi B break-up drama that's going on right now. While speaking to BallerAlert, the radio host spoke on the situation going on between hip-hop's former IT couple and offered a solid piece of advice for the Migos member during this time.
"If I was Offset, my only piece of advice for him -- as someone that's got experience in that situation -- just give her some space," he said. "It's an old cliché, 'If you love something let it go, if it comes back to you it's yours,' you know what I'm sayin'? They got a child together."
He added, "Also, you gotta be the change you want to see in the world. Like, you can't just come with the flowers and the cake and all that other stuff and say 'hey take me back.' Like nah, you really got to be the man that she wants you to be."
