A very dope concert went down Saturday night at Austin City Limits on Saturday, with D.R.A.M., Metro Boomin, and Towkio opening for Chance the Rapper at Stubb's Outdoors. A very dope show, with a very dope announcement, as Chance performed a new song and hinted that the follow up to Acid Rap may be coming soon.
True to Chance's habit of rehashing schoolyard ditty as rap songs, the song starts off sounding like "Do You Know the Muffin Man?" and grows from there. It finishes with a flourish, a triumphant wail from Donnie Trumpet and Chance uttering the words "third mixtape." He dropped 10 Day in 2012 and Acid Rap in 2013.
