Chance The Rapper is giving all due credit to Kristen Corley today. The Chicago emcee has shared a gallery of photos of himself and Corley, the mother of his daughter, Kensli, on Instagram in honor of her birthday. The post comes complete with a heartfelt message to Corley. "From the beginning beginning to the end end. You are my oldest and best friend," he writes. "You are responsible for everyone of the most wonderful things in my life. I’m forever grateful that God made me find you, and even more grateful that you made me find God. Forever and ever babe. Happy Birthday."

Chance and Kirsten welcomed their first daughter in September 2015. After living together as a family for some time, the two decided it would be best to live separately, reaching an agreement on child support in March 2017. As Corley's lawyer told the Chicago Tribune, the arrangement was more than amicable. "This case ended quickly because of the unusually high level of cooperation between the parents putting their child's best interest first," he said. The two were reported to both have "substantial time" with Kensli, and it is clear they have remained close.
Since first publicly introducing her last January, Chance has been sharing pictures of Kensli regularly on Instagram. Last week, he shared a picture of himself holding his daughter with the caption, "Workin on my business."
