We barely hear about Cassidy these days but when we do, it seems like it's for all the wrong reasons. He's undoubtedly a great emcee who's proven that his lyrical prowess is still present. However, the legal issues seem to get in the way of his career. Back in November, the rapper was arrested and charged for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. At the same time, the police also found out he had two outstanding warrants issued for Cassidy's arrest. However, it looks like there's now a third added to that list.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Cassidy in New Jersey, TMZ reports. The Jersey City Municipal Court says the rapper failed to show up to court date from his charges in November.

The rapper was caught by the police after they the smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from his car. The rapper was parked in front of his home and police say he had a spliff sitting in clear sight on his dashboard. After searching the vehicle, they also found a grinder as well as a bag of weed.

Upon his initial arrest and the discovery of the two arrest warrants issued, the rapper faced two separate court dates. One for the marijuana charges as well as for the old charges.

Hopefully all of this gets settled in the near future and Cassidy can avoid any jail time for his charges. However, not showing up to your court date is typically frowned upon in the legal society.
