This past week, New York lyricist Casanova turned himself in after being accused of assaulting a woman at a diner. As the story goes, Niya Rucker claimed that Cas and his crew thought she was filming them with her camera, although she was just trying to get a shot of her food. Cas and his crew allegedly approached her, assaulted her, and took her phone to delete the pictures. The assault was captured on tape, although the evidence does not directly implicate Cas as a culprit. Rucker suffered from a broken jaw, and required four stitches after the assault.

Cas has decided to stick to the music to respond to the ongoing drama, and he laid a verse down on Teyana Taylor's "Gonna Love Me." Much like New York rappers used to do in the late 90's and early 00's, Cas hops on the original version of the song for just a moment, and lets the rest of the cut play out as intended. The rapper maintains his innocence, and opines about his decisions on  "Gonna Love Me (Remix)."

Quotable Lyrics
She said I broke her jaw, how you figure that?
Only time I hit a girl is when it's from the back
Bottom line that bitch a liar
But I should have been at home and not the diner
Why the hell I'm up in Good Stuff with hoes
When a nigga already got that good stuff at home?
