It seems that Drake isn't the only artist to have nabbed themselves some platinum plaques recently. Cardi B, who's album Invasion of Privacy was one of the biggest releases of the year, also earned a couple of platinum certifications on her own, and took to Instagram to thank her fans for their assistance.
In the photo posted on her account, it claims that Cardi's breakout single, "Bodak Yellow," has officially gone six times platinum. That's not all, as some of her other singles have also earned themselves platinum status as well. "Bartier Cardi," which features 21 Savage, has gone double platinum and "I Like It," with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, reached the million milestone to become Cardi's third platinum song. Pretty impressive for an artist on her first studio album.
Cardi kept it brief in the caption of the post, simply writing a ":’) Thank you everybody !❤️," to show the fans her appreciation for their continued support.
Of course, Cardi is worried about much more than just music these days. Her secret marriage to Offset was recently revealed to the world, and the couple still has a baby on the way. Naturally, however, the two of them are celebrating in style with a gorgeous "Bronx Fairy Tale" baby shower in preparation for the newborn.
Cardi B is continuing to have one of the best 2018's in the music industry, and it's sure to only get better once she's able to start touring once again. Although, her pregnancy doesn't seem to have slowed her down so far.
