After hitting us with the audio a couple weeks, DJ Snake decides to come through today and share the official video for his star-studded reggaeton banger “Taki Taki” featuring Cardi B, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna. The video was premiered during the 2018 American Music Awards Tuesday night, where Cardi was not only nominated for eight awards but also performed her smash hit “I Like It” with J Balvin & Bad Bunny.
The Colin Tiley-directed visual takes place in a dark and forbidden forest, before the superstars make their way a volcanic surface while lava explodes behind them. It’s a very cinematic visual to say the least.
“I only heard it with Ozuna, then I find out Selena Gomez is gonna be on it, I’m like, ‘Oh shit, I know it’s gonna be a hit,’” Cardi B said about the collab. “It’s gonna be a really good hit,” she adds, “International hit. It’s very international.”
