Cardi B's first American Music Awards appearance was one for the books since the rapper came through (elegantly) drippin' in a floral number with matching headpiece, shoes and earrings. Her partner in crime, Offset, was right by her side the whole time in an eggplant-hued suit, perfectly complementing his wife's outfit.
The night was well celebrated since Cardi's eight nominations resulted in three wins for Favourite Rap/Hip Hop Artist, Favourite Rap/Hip Hop Song, and Favourite Soul/R&B Song. Offset and his Migos collective won the Favourite Pop/Rock Group and in light as the milestone, Cardi shared a photo to Instagram of her and her man with the caption: "WINNERS."
During Cardi's Favourite Artist acceptance speech, she shouted out her whole team and most importantly her daughter Kulture and partner, Offset. "I really want to thank my daughter. And not just because she's my daughter," she explained. "When I was pregnant, I was so influenced to be, like, 'Yo, I got to do this, I got to show people wrong. I got to prove people wrong.' Because they said I wasn't going to make it after I had a baby."
