You might love her, you might hate her, but you can't ignore Cardi B. After dropping her summer anthem "Bodak Yellow" in June, the single caught fire, eventually landing at number one on the Billboard charts and securing the young rapper a Grammy nomination. And while people have no doubt endeared themselves to Cardi's charming and unapologetic persona, there are some who remain cautiously optimistic about her future in the rap game. So far, Cardi has acquainted herself well on feature verses, like the Juicy J collaboration "Kama Sutra," the Migos and Nicki Minaj collabo "Motor Sport," and the G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky assisted "No Limit." And while features are well and good, people are eager to see whether or not Cardi can follow up "Bodak Yellow" with another hit.

Well, come December 15th, we'll find out together. While doing a show in London for Spotify's "Who We Be" series, Cardi B recently announced her new single, "Cardier Cardi." The follow-up track is set to appear on Cardi's as of yet untitled album, which the rapper has been meticulously crafting behind the scenes. It's unclear whether or not we've already heard a bit of "Cardier Cardi," as Cardi has been sharing musical previews with increasing frequency. Either way, Cardi is aware of the expectations, and the rollout of her single has become one of hip-hop's most intriguing underdog narratives.

Stay tuned for December 15th, when "Cardier Cardi" will be officially hitting streaming services.
