The speculation surrounding the release of trailers for Marvel movies has become more intense than the anticipation for most actual movies and the genius marketers over at the soon-to-be worldwide entertainment monopoly, Disney, have given us another tasty little morsel: the new Captain Marvel trailer will be releasing this evening on ESPN during their Monday Night Football broadcast (Disney owns ESPN).

The new trailer has people talking for a few reasons. First of all, Marvel movies have been getting better and better as they get bigger (and they are very big), using their resources for uncommon means like hiring the director of a vampire mockumentary from New Zealand to direct Thor: Ragnarok, one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. In other words, we can expect big things from Captain Marvel. The film will star Brie Larson as the Captain (she has shown her strange range as Envy Adams in Scott Pilgrim VS. The World and the mom in the haunting Room)  and will be directed by Ryan Fleck. Watch the trailer for the trailer below:

The actual movie is set for release on March 8th, just before the next (and final) Avengers. The trailer for that movie is likely to release this Wednesday.
