Capone-N-Noreaga are back with a new album this summer, preparing Lessons for a July 24th release. "In The 1st" is the latest record we've received from the project, and naturally, it's a slice of traditional New York rap, done by some of the best to ever do it. Of course, the production is a little beefier than back in the day, as an ominous organ sample is pushed forward by some hard, effectively busy boom bap drums.
No hooks here, just a solid two minutes of hard bars, which is all we ever asked for from CNN. Look out for their new project next month.
