In the summer, Young Thug teamed up with Camila Cabello for "Havana," and the former Fifth Harmony member definitely started her solo career on a high note. The Cuban infused rhythms of "Havana" lent themselves well to Thugger's melodic style, and the Super Slimey rapper proved he could hold his own on a mainstream radio banger. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before Thug and Cabello linked up to bring the single to life, and now, the "Havana" video is upon us. And honestly, it's bigger and better than we anticipated.

"Pop" may or may not be your favored style, but "Havana's" video should prove entertaining nonetheless. Opening up with a cinematic introduction, one version of Camila watches another version of herself on a telenovela, entangled in an eccentric love triangle. After some plot-moving banter from her sister and grandmother, Camila finds herself heading to a local movie theater to watch "Havana." The song kicks off, and we follow Camila and Thug performing at a club, decked out in scarlet as they take the stage. A far cry from her modest alter ego, the "Havan" Camila looks fine as hell as she kills the dance floor.

I found myself enjoying this video more than I anticipated. There's an undeniable sense of charm in the narrative, and Cabello proves she has enough charisma and star power to carry herself into a long and successful career. It would appear that leaving Fifth Harmony may very well have been the right call, even if it left some fans feeling salty. As for Thug, well, he continues to pop up everywhere. His appearance in "Havana" proves that the eccentric rapper can appeal to the mainstream, and it wouldn't be surprising if Thug began landing top 40 features in the future, not unlike Quavo or Lil Wayne
