Bryce Harper's #3 Philadelphia Phillies jersey is the hottest item in the sports world right now. According to Fanatics (H/T ESPN), Harper's new Phillies jersey set a company record by becoming the top online seller, across all sports, during the first 48 hours after it launched.

Fanatics reports that the previous record belonged to LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers jersey. The next best-selling jerseys were the ones that the New York Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton, Chicago Bears' Khalil Mack and San Francisco 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo.

Harper's Phillies jersey first became available to the public at 2:10pm ET this past Saturday, just moments after the star outfielder was officially introduced as a member of the Phils. During his introductory press conference, Harper said he changed numbers because he feels Hall of Famer Roy Halladay, who died in a plane crash in 2017, should be the last to wear #34.

Harper, who wore #34 during his stint with the Washington Nationals, inked a 13-year $330 million contract with Philadelphia, which marks the richest deal in North American sports history.
