We regret to report that Brooklyn rapper, Pumpkinhead, has passed away at the age of 39. Fans of the Rawkus Records and Immortal Technique catalogs should be well-versed in the work of the rapper, who appeared on Revolutionary 1 and 2, and released his esteemed project, Orange Moon Over Brooklyn, in 2005.

While the rapper's cause of death has yet to be revealed, his friends and collaborators have spent the morning eulogizing him on social media. Fellow Rawkus emcee Talib Kweli, producer Marco Polo, and Immortal Technique have all shared thoughts. Kweli had some particularly kind words for PH, writing, "He LOVED MCing and was great at it. To lose such a great human being so early in his life, man. No words. There is a fraternity of artists who were around for all of this. PH inspired us all. He will live on thru us even though his physical presence will be missed. RIP Robert Diaz."

Take a look at some of the love shared by fellow rappers below. RIP.
