Broderick Batts has recently decamped from his native Tampa to pursue a music career in Los Angeles. There's a lot to like about his new song "Kate Moss 1986" -- the tropical vibe, the "Instagram in the '80s" premise, the fact that it's produced by the ingeniously named Tommy Trillfigga.
If one triangulates "Kate Moss 1986" against the two Broderick Batts songs previously featured on HNHH -- "Diggin' to China" and the mischievously titled “¯\_(ã)_/¯" -- they will discover an astonishing versatility that builds nicely off of Batts' unique vocal presence. Definitely looking forward to seeing what he cooks up next.
