Brent Faiyaz, the slick voice behind the infectious hook off Goldlink's grammy considered banger "Crew", now sits alone and confidently. "Make Luv" has the singer hitting back at his doubters, in the form of a cheeky lover's quarrel.
"It’s just about bossing up on whoever was with you and fronted on you or acted like you wasn’t good enough,” the singer revealed to Bazaar, also conferring that “You boss up, and they all want to come back around, like, ‘I see you. I’m so proud of you.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, okay.’”
Hardly a B-side in terms of quality, the track got passed up for his stellar debut Sonder Son, due a sample clearance issue. Thankfully it too has now seen the light of day.

Gave you all I had
But it wasn't enough
Thought I wasn't much
But now you wanna make love
