Boosie could not take the stage in Dinwiddie County after a shooting caused a panic and left two hospitalized.

Boosie's headlining slot at the 2nd Annual Spring Fest in Dinwiddie County, VA was canceled shortly before it began. TMZ reports that two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a panic that erupted when shots were fired at the event Saturday night.

CBS 6 reports the first gunshot was fired near the stage at around 8PM. More gunshots were fired at various locations in the park later on.

Maj. William Knott of the Dinwiddie Sheriff's Office would not confirm whether the hospitalized victims had suffered gunshot wounds. However, "Crime Insider sources" cited by CBS suggest one victim was shot in the hand, while another was shot in the leg.

"Fortunately, the injuries seem to be minor. It's something that could have turned out a lot worse," said Knott.

Boosie has made a statement on the shooting and cancellation in a video shared by TMZ. Watch it below.
