Boosie Badazz expands his musical palette with his first "blues" album.

Boosie Badazz has experienced a wealth of struggle, from his prison stint, to his engagement in violent behavior, to his encounters with the supernatural. It's no wonder such a man has a wealth of experience, with pain in his heart and music in his soul. Though the Badazz has provided us with no shortage of hip-hop music, the time has finally come for Boosie to expand his musical palette. We've long heard tell of his upcoming blues albums, appropriately dubbed Boosie Blues Cafe. Now, the time has come for us to take a visit.

To Boosie's credit, the Louisiana icon has embraced the conceptual nature of his endeavor in full. Blues staples like overdriven guitars and pentatonic riffs are brought to the forefront, providing a backdrop for Boosie to let fly his soulful vocals. What he lacks in finesse he makes up for in authenticity. Should you bear respect for Boosie Badazz' work, you should do right by the man and dive into his most experimental album to date.

Boosie fans, chine in below. Should this be a one-off, or is this a sound that Badazz should continuously explore down the line.
