While XXL Freshman BlocBoy JB has proven to be a breath of fresh air, driven largely in part by a seemingly boundless energy, his partner in crime should not go unappreciated. Tay Keith has been responsible for some of the year's biggest blammers, from BlocBoy & Drake's "Look Alive," to Drizzy's "Nonstop," to playing a pivotal role in shaping Travis Scott & Drake's "Sicko Mode." Clearly, Keith has caught Drake's attention, and one can only hope the pair continue to make beautiful music together. Yet BlocBoy and Keith were the original partnership, having come up together as two aspiring Memphis musicians; it's only fitting that the duo continue to rise together.

Case in point, BlocBoy's latest announcement. Taking to Instagram to spread the good word, BlocBoy officially confirmed that a new tape was coming up, featuring a heavy dose of Tay Keith production. It's clear that BlocBoy understands Keith's rising status, and knows exactly how much the public is clamouring for some new heat. "Everybody Thank @1taykeith For Fuccin Des N***s Up," writes JB, alluding to the producer's soon to be iconic tag.

While we have yet to land a release date, rest assured that the project is coming, presumably before year's end. In the mean time, check out our interview with Tay Keith, who teased plenty of big things to come.
