Sacramento-raised sibling duo Darius and Dom Logan, together known as Blaq Tuxedo, have penned songs for everyone from Ty Dolla $ign to Chris Brown since they moved to Los Angeles in 2009. They are now forging ahead with their own fledgling music career. Today, they premiere their new DJ Carisma-hosted mixtape Tap In on HNHH.
Blaq Tuxedo went home from LA to Sacramento to create the 11-track tape, which is primarily self-produced. "The vision behind the mixtape was making fun-loving, 808-driven records for people to party to," they told HNHH over email. "This is more of the dirty side where we can be more expressive about who we are. We're talking about exactly where we come from."
Give Tap In a listen and let us know what you think.
