Black Bear released his EP, The After Glow in April (on 4/20, in fact), but he's already returned with a new single. While it's not immediately clear whether this new offering is attached to any particular project, it is yet another strong showing of alternative R&B from the buzzing newcomer.
The production is a mix of cloud-rap reverb, Imogen Heap vocal-layering, and some straight up indie-pop songwriting.
The eclectic but accessible combination of sounds makes for a promising amalgamation of trendy styles, which should earn him some attention from various audiences.
Look out for more from the emerging songwriter in the near future.
