If you were tuned into President Barack Obama’s farewell speech Tuesday night in Chicago then you might’ve seen hometown R&B singer, BJ The Chicago Kid, sing the national anthem. Luckily for those of you who missed it, we got you covered as the performance has since surfaced online.

“I couldn’t tell y’all before, but I can tell y’all now...we’re out here at the farewell address of the President of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama,” he said. “This is his last day in office and it’s an honor to sing his last song.” BJ wrote on Facebook.
