Released last month, BJ The Chicago Kid's The M.A.F.E. Project compilation is still one of the best R&B projects we've heard all year. Today, the tape's Schoolboy Q-assisted track "It's True" gets a video. He had this to say about the track:
"I was initially very nervous playing this track for Schoolboy Q," BJ told The FADER in an email. "It is a PSA. Its mission is to let people know that you do not have to be involved in gang-like activity to be affected by it, to be hurt or killed by it. This life is real and can hurt the most innocent of people."
