Birdman and Cash Money Records rose from the streets of New Orleans to becoming an international powerhouse record label that housed some of the biggest artists in the game. Birdman's created a hip hop empire with some of the most influential artists sitting on his roster. There's been talks of a documentary surrounding Cash Money records for nearly two years at this point. Now, it looks like we'll finally get to see a glimpse into the world of Cash Money Records as "Before Anything: A Cash Money Story" is gearing up to drop this week.

Birdman has teamed up with Apple Music for a new documentary that follows the story of the Cash Money empire's rise to the top. "Before Anythang: The Cash Money Story" will be dropping on Apple Music on February 16th with an accompanying soundtrack slated to drop on the same day. Apple Music also released a new trailer for the film as well.

The new documentary will focus on the story of Birdman and his brother Slim from their humble beginnings to breaking into the industry with with Cash Money. The documentary will be narrated by Birdman and will be directed by Clifton Bell. The documentary will feature rare footage of the Cash Money roster over the years since their inception.

Considering their history in the rap game and the history behind the label, it seems like a documentary is long overdue. They've brought up some of the most prominent names in not only hip hop but music as a whole.
