After preview video clips of R. Kelly's tearful outbursts during an interview with Gayle King, it's being reported that the singer is looking to expand his team to help with his current court case. The 52-year-old music icon is facing new charges of sexual misconduct with minors, accusations that he vehemently denies. His lawyer has publicly made claims that Kelly is innocent of all charges, but after years of allegations and multiple accusers stepping forward, the public isn't so forgiving.
According to The Blast, Kelly is now trying to get his house in order, so to speak, by calling on a man named Andrew Wyatt. For those not familiar with Wyatt, he is the crisis manager who worked for Bill Cosby. Wyatt believes that there are many similarities between Cosby's circumstances and what Kelly's currently facing, and Wyatt claims that he and Kelly are in the final stages of working out a deal.

While many believe that Kelly's case is a lost cause, Wyatt is ready to take on the challenge. He told The Blast that he wants to join Kelly's team to make sure that a "public lynching of a successful black man in America" won't happen. The crisis manager goes on to say that there are those that have an "axe to grind" and are looking to derail justice by convicting "black men in the court of public opinion."
Additionally, Wyatt wouldn't have advised Kelly to partake in the Gayle King interview "with all these counts facing him. We have to show this is no different than a tour. It’s a tour called the race war and sex war against black men in America.” Wyatt also says that like Cosby, Kelly was found not guilty but the system won't relent and cites a "racist war" as the culprit.
